Every story begins somewhere.
For some people, it begins with a place. For others, it begins with a memory, a question, a person, or one quiet moment that refuses to leave them alone.
For me, storytelling has always grown out of ordinary life.
A conversation overheard in passing. A person sitting alone. A smile that says more than words could. A memory that comes back when I least expect it.
Those are the kinds of moments that stay with me. They are also the kinds of moments that often find their way into my writing.
That is part of why I created RMKiser.com.
This website is meant to be more than a place to list books. It is a home for the stories I write, the conversations I share, and the thoughts behind both.
Here, you will find information about my novels, updates on future books, the Conversations series, and a closer look at the moments that inspire the stories I write.
Stories do not always begin with something dramatic. Sometimes they begin with a small detail most people would pass by. Sometimes they begin with someone who is hurting. Sometimes they begin with grace, mercy, regret, forgiveness, or the question of what it really means to see another person.
Those are the kinds of stories I want to tell — stories about people, second chances, and quiet moments that stay with you after they end.
Thank you for being here at the beginning. I am glad you found your way here.
